Security Notice - Statement on Bogner Florian Revealing Privilege Escalation Vulnerability in Huawei E5373 LTE Mobile Wi-Fi Products

Huawei noticed that security researcher Bogner Florian revealed a privilege escalation security vulnerability in Huawei E5373 LTE Mobile Wi-Fi Products on May 12, 2016.
Bogner Florian had reported the vulnerability to Huawei before revealing it. Huawei has already investigated into the vulnerability. Currently, Huawei is communicating with affected carriers to determine a version plan.
Here, we express our appreciation for Bogner Florian’s concerns on Huawei products.
