Ms. Chen Lifang Attended and Spoke at the Budapest Conference on Cyberspace 2012

[Shenzhen, China, October 5, 2012] After the London Conference on Cyberspace in November 2011, the second session of this conference was held in Hungary from October 4 to 5, 2012. The Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister of Hungary, the British Foreign Minister, the South Korean Foreign Minister, ministerial officials from another 12 countries, including Germany, France, Sweden, New Zealand, and the Netherlands, and 12 CXOs of multinationals attended the conference. Over 600 people from more than 70 countries and 20 international organizations were present at the conference. Ms. Chen Lifang delivered a speech "Finding a Viable and Collective Solution" at the conference, and attended the panel discussion on cyber security.

On the morning of October 5, Ms. Chen Lifang had a meeting with Lászlóné Németh, the Hungarian Minister of National Development, and the Hungarian Deputy Secretary of State. Minister Németh extended a warm welcome to the Huawei delegation, and gave a brief introduction about the Ministry of National Development. During the meeting, the Huawei delegation and Minister Németh exchanged ideas about related business. Ms. Chen Lifang invited Minister Németh and the Deputy Secretary of State to visit Huawei headquarters and presented written invitations to both of them for the Shenzhen High-tech Fair. The Minister of National Development expressed thanks to Ms. Chen and said she would love to visit China and Huawei if time allows.
