Huawei Receives "Cyber Security Organization of the Year" Award from CyberSecurity Malaysia
One of Malaysia's highest recognitions in information security awarded to Huawei for the company's best practices in an increasingly vulnerable connected world
[Ipoh, Malaysia, November 13, 2014]: Huawei today announced that it has won the " Cyber Security Organization of the Year" Award from CyberSecurity Malaysia, the national cyber security specialist agency under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), Malaysia. The recognition came at the 4th Cyber Security Malaysia - Awards, Conference and Exhibition (CSM-ACE) held recently in Ipoh, a capital city of the Perak State, Malaysia.

The award is a recognition of Huawei's best practice in building an end-to-end comprehensive and reliable global cyber security assurance system in the industy.
The Malaysia Cyber Security Awards were created to honour individuals and organisations who contributed to Malaysia's cyber security or information security standards. After strigent selection and judging process led by industry experts, Huawei was selected as the winner for its substantial investment in cyber security and continous improvements. Huawei has also established an auditable, sustainable, and reliable cyber security assurance system by integrating security requirements into internal business processes. This system is supported by policies, organizational structures, designated personnel, governance, technologies, and regulations, all of which together safeguard the Malaysian ICT network.
